Who is it for?
For employees and freelancers working remotely for companies or clients outside Spain. Income from Spanish companies may not exceed 20% of total income (Ley 28/2022).
Key documents
- Application form and passport-size photo
- Passport (valid for at least 12 more months)
- Proof of at least 3 months' working relationship with your current employer or client
- Document proving the company has been operating for at least 1 year
- University degree or documents proving at least 3 years of work experience
- Sufficient income (based on Spain's minimum wage, updated yearly)
- Health insurance (required in certain cases)
- Certificate of no criminal record
- Translation of documents into Spanish and apostille
